Last month, I purchased a 50 year old Petri Color 35mm film camera from a small local shop. I picked it up for $20. After seeing the photos that it can take, I’m convinced it was some of the best $20 I’ve ever spent. Film used was Kodak 400 C-41 B&W. The camera is 100% manual. The light meter is broken, so all of these exposures were guesses.

Beautiful shots. I miss shooting film. We have an old Minolta that I need to bust out. I’ve been using it’s 50mm lens on my Nikon DSLR. The adapter ring throws the geometry off, so it works more like a slightly tilt-shift macro. It’s weird, but awesome when used right.

Thanks. But your’s are quite nice, as well. I really love the third one, of the guy with his back to you in the chair. At first glance, one might think it’s a vintage photo of whoever working on something stressful and important back in 1968. But then you see the monitor and the recycle bin and it kinda messes with yr mind a little. It’s a fantastically composed photo.

I like the picture of the woman in the restaurant. Great shot. Dandelion Lady? Would love a picture of the camera...

Thanks so much. That's my professor who showed me what kind of drive media production requires. I took that shot as a tribute to him.

Indeed. Dandelion lady.

I love that shot, as well. It’s my favorite, actually. I love the one of all the decks, too. Reminds me of my tv days.
Nice work, CTS!

She has striking features, made all the more so in B&W. The two photos make a brilliant juxtaposition. 90% of my photography, at least any that I find meaningful, is of humans.
That’s a cool-looking camera. I like how the aperture is set by a dial on the camera body.

She says thank you. The best part of that dial is that there aren't any stops. It's a fluid dial

Awesome! I like. Need to post up my Infrared shots on here. I took them on a motorcycle trip so it’s a valid post. Haha.
